Is there some sort of template available for lead sheets?

Yes and no...

For current versions you have to download and drop the template in
C:\Program Files\Musys Software\MusiCAD 3.1

From then on you can use

• [Options|Use template] (<F2>)
• Page / Lead sheet
• OK
