import a PDF file and transpose
Is it possible to import a PDF file into the program and then transpose it? Importing a PDF-file is more or less the same as scanning a music sheet. Conversion of graphics data to obtain music data is a complex task tha MusiCAD is not capable of. However, It should be possible to use some other (ex...

scan, transpose & print
Can I use MusiCAD to scan a piece of sheet music into the software, have the software transpose the piece to a different key, and print out the transposed piece? If so, what are the steps to accomplish this task using MusiCAD? The last two items (transpose & print) are possible of course. The first...

MusiCAD for Apple/Mac?
I just applied to download MusiCAD and the first thing I read was that it was for Windows, which I’m afraid I don’t have. Is there a version for Mac Yosemite ? MusiCAD is a windows-only program... However, it is possible to install a wonderful (free) toolset called Wine on a Mac that will allow you...

Re: License expired?
Yes it does. No it doesn't... 8-) Like other pre-version-7 programs, the changed file locations and the new library storage in Windows 7 will not be handled by MusiCAD in Windows-7 style, but in Window-XP compatible style. However, most users will never notice the difference. ;) Yeah, MusiCAD does ...

Re: File types for import
I am wondering what File types of sheet music I should be looking for to import into MusiCAD specifically for transposing. Any file readable with MusiCAD should do. For now this are: .mc - MusiCAD native file type, see the music archive http://muzarch.dse.nl .abc - music in ABC-notation. Most .abc-...

All of a sudden MusiCAD displays everything in German... What's going on here? Most likely you have accidentally selected the user interface language to German. To reset user interface to back English go to [Optionen|Praferenzen] GermanLanguage.jpg On the tab ' Ubriges ' you need to select the item...
